Today I surpassed a big milestone… over 500 uniforms are now included in my Plus update. I completed a few Tampa Bay uniforms today that officially brought the total count to 501. So let’s all just take a moment to pray to your god(s) and be thankful that I am so insanely nerdy…

In even nerdier news, probably the last big update for the 2009 Plus update is going to be available to donors soon. The only updates I can reasonably see the rest of this season will be to complete the All-Star uniforms, and fix anything else that may arise. Other than that, I’m going to guess there won’t be a tremendous amount of updates the rest of the way, maybe only a a couple new uniforms here or there maybe.

As for the forthcoming update, it’s a big one — all teams have now been overhauled to reflect current footwear and batting glove styles for 2009, and several all-new uniforms are included. Expect it to be available to donors this weekend or next week.

The latest 2009 uniform update, v4.1 PLUS, has now been released to donors via email. In fact, it’s probably sitting in your inbox right now. So why are you reading this?

Released a new uniform update… kind of.

There are now two versions of my uniform updates available — Standard and Plus. Check the Download page for more info on both, but the brief info is this:

1. Standard — Includes every MLB team’s home and road uniforms, plus All-Star uniforms and umpire uniform. 62 uniforms total.
2. Plus — Includes every MLB and MiLB team’s home, road, alternate, and throwback uniforms, plus All-Star uniforms and umpire uniform. Over 480 uniforms total, available to donors.

Also, donors can expect a new release here in the next week or so. You’ll be emailed the download link and password as soon as it’s completed.

You’ll notice the two new tabs up top:

1. If you need to contact me about the donation procedure or you have any other uniform related inquiries, do so through the Contact Me tab up above.
2. The Download page has been revised a bit so now the whole process should be clear. Once I receive your donation, I will manually respond with your password. Since this a manual operation, it will almost always not be simultaneous after checkout from Paypal. I am constantly checking my email throughout the day, however, so sit tight and your password should come within the day.

Once we reach a certain amount of members, I think it would be more than fair to start taking some requests. As is stated, a $5 donation gets you all updates for the rest of the season, so the more popular/unanimous requests will try to be taken care of first, then possibly smaller requests as well. At some point, a special forum may be designated for donators which would facilitate questions/requests/conversation a little bit easier. But for now, use the contact page if you wish to get a hold of me.
