Another Rangers post…

Here’s another look at the new Rangers uniforms in MVP Baseball 2009 for everyone to get upset at again.

I finally got the helmet looking how I want it and I also went through and made all their numbers, as best as the game will allow.

  • The Texas Texas and Pittsburgh Pirates unveiled their new 2009 uniforms today, although previously leaked images, again, turned out to be 100% correct.

Since I’ve already shown my work on the new Texas jerseys, take a look at how the Pirates are going to be looking in MVP Baseball 2009…

  • Another year, another butt load of minor league uniform changes to suffer through. Below you’ll see the latest I’ve completed, from the Winston-Salem Dash and Buffalo “Un-Needed Plural” Bisons:

The Buffalo changes are very welcome, as they align themselves with the colors of their new parent club (something I love, however I love it even more when they adopt the same font/script as well). The black alternate is lame and the home jersey could have been in the Mets font, as well, but their Bisons script is kinda cool in it’s own right.

The Winston-Salem Dash name change and uniform re-design are pretty lame, in my opinion. Since they unwisely chose to display purple so prominently, I think it’s safe to say the uniforms and logos have a distinct early-to-mid nineties feel, and thus will be out of style in approximately -10 years.

Re-designed the blog (click on those ads, get some revenue up in here) and also saw some of the leaked Rangers uniforms, which while not confirmed yet, are probably what they’re going to go with (the other leaks of the off-season have proven to be 100% correct).

Shown above are the new home, second home alternate, and spring jerseys for 2009. Also, I re-did their 90s era throwbacks — both home and road, as displayed above.
