The Tampa Bay Rays new single-A affiliate, the Charlotte Stone Crabs, unveiled their new logos and uniforms today, so that means new uniforms for MVP Baseball 2009. I figured this would also be a good time to showcase some new and revamped uniforms you’ll be able to use with the major league Rays in this year’s game:

Today Boston’s uniform changes were unveiled, and although I despise Boston and the east coast so very, very much, almost to the point of murderous extremism (which is weird, because I loved Good Will Hunting) — I really enjoy the changes they made to their road uniform. Depending on what choice of undershirt they go with (I guessed navy for all jerseys) I should still like the road jersey on opening day, while not really caring either way about the alternates — they’re very plain, maybe some piping would have made them pop a little more… but who cares, Boston can rot in hell for all I care (which is harsh, even though I love Seth Meyers)

One last post for the day and it’s a quick one — I spent the majority of today working on some conceptual designs and I think they really turned out great, I especially love the Minnesota road jersey. My wish is that one day all teams will add the city/state name to their road jersey and have both their home and road jersey scripts derived from the same font/style…
